A NEW DRUG/LOVE DESTRUCTION (POWER MUSIC)

This 2 song single is the follow up to the debut single "I don´t wanna change"
(what a total anthem this song was. A must have song for every DJ), that only
contained one song. The first song "New Drug" reminded me of the best moments
of the Backyard Babies. The second one, the excellent "Love Destruction" sounds
sick and fucked-up and that is meant in the nicest possible way.
It is a combination of the Stooges / Iggy Pop sound plus all the sleazy rock that
you can possible handle, all in one. This Swedish four piece includes Andy Pierce
wich vocal talents who some of you might remember from his contributions with
Nasty Idols and Machinegun Kelly. I did have one of the several Nasty Idols
releases - the one that included "Cool way of Living" a video clip that was played
several times by MTV´s Headbangers Ball- but I never heard anything by
Machinegun Kelly. I just know that their video clip "Whiteline Offside" - that was
the name of their debut album too- was banned by MTV since the band members
were possible using drugs on that clip! Anyway, lets leave Nasty Idols and MGK
alone for now, because the future is here and it´s bright. UNITED ENEMIES can
easily be the next big thing, provided that they put their shit together: tour heavily
and release a full-length album that has songs as good as the 3 songs as
mentioned above.
