UNITED ENEMIES
LOVE KILLS (POWER MUSIC)

United Enemies is another new Malmoe, Sweden based band and I suppose that this is the
first taste of what we have to expect from them. Andy (Nasty Idols, Machinegun Kelly and
a solo album) formed the band and along with him he has Mats and Christian from the rock
a billy/rock'n'roll band 69-hard and Richard and that became the steady line-up.
According to the info note this should sound like Iggy Pop and The Stooges, Sex Pistols
and The New York Dolls. I can somewhat agree with that but I think it sounds more like
glam /sleazy rock 'n' roll influenced by the early New York scene and by 70's punk.
They have also some music similarities with early Hanoi Rocks and Guns'n'Roses and
his old band Nasty Idols as well. Andy has written 3 of the 4 tracks on this CD and on
one song he got some help by R.Holmgren. This is 4 killer tracks; all of them are of a very
high class. The CD was recorded in Dynamic Recordings Studio in Landskrona Sweden by
the band themselves. They have done a great job with the production; it sounds very
dirty/glam/sleazy/punk with a lot of attitude. Andy and the guys delivers something very
energetic and I'll hope that they are going to release their debut real soon, I want to hear
more of what United Enemies has to offer. If the debut is of the same high class as this they
are going to be very hard to beat. They are currently in the work of making a debut.
The band has only one target Ð to deliver sweaty rock'n'roll, something that they
definitely have done a great job doing here. This sampler has been sent out to magazines,
newspapers and DJs to see if there is any interest in the band.
