UNITED ENEMIES
LOVE KILLS (POWER MUSIC)

Andy Pierce (Nasty Idols, Machinegun Kelly) was never the kind of Swedish dude to just sit
around and do nothing for a long period of time. He has something that many would already
consider a successful career but it seems he wants to extend it a little bit. And how! With
UE he took in the bass- and guitar player of ‘69 Hard’, completed the line-up with drummer
Richard, wrote a couple of shotgun blasts that slightly resemble songs and this here 4 track
EP is the quite astounding result. And why astounding, you ask me? Well, because this is
so damn good I’m sincerely considering going to Sweden and kicking a full album out of this
troop. If they do get around to record an album’s worth of material, it’s sure to be one of the
best albums released that year. This is one hell of a cock rock shocker, people. Andy imports
his inspiration nowadays in heavily secured containers straight from the late 70’s/ early 80’s
Dead Boys, Iggy, Hanoi Rocks, Mötley – scene. You know; those nasty, filthy leather and
studs and really bad women days. UE are not the only contenders around, and not the most
original but they’re surely one of the most likely to succeed. In the person of Andy they have
a shit load of experience and on top of that they rock like a pack of hungry wolfs. On offer
here are 4 short, simple heavy glam/rock/punk songs laden with more hooks than a great
white shark has teeth. Andy not just sings but spits out his words to his ready & willing
audience. And together this makes one hell of a snot-nosed flash rock classic with an
attitude problem. Nasty! Sleazy!! Helvete ja!!!
